How to use?

Nutrition Plan Routine

  • Pre-workout: Mix 1 serving with 8-12 oz water and shake vigorously, or add to food and stir until smooth. Consume 30-45 minutes before your workout. One serving delivers 60-90 minutes of sustained energy. For longer or more intense workouts, fuel with multiple servings of UCAN for extended energy.
  • Mixing tips: Add desired amount of water to shaker bottle before adding UCAN powder. Add powder to water and shake vigorously. For a smoother consistency, let chill for a few hours or up to 48 hours. Shake again immediately before consuming.
  • During workout: Drink a serving of UCAN every 60-90 minutes during longer endurance workouts. Most athletes “feed” with UCAN and consume a serving over 5-10 minutes rather than sipping it slowly like a traditional sports drink. Practice and see what works best for you.
  • How to Make a UCAN Gel: Mixing your UCAN into a “gel” form is a convenient way to carry and consume UCAN for endurance athletes training and competing for several hours. Add one serving of UCAN to a bowl. Slowly pour water into the bowl (use 2-4 oz per serving) and stir vigorously until the UCAN is a paste-like consistency. Transfer to a gel flask and consume during exercise.

    It took me two times to figure out how I needed to take UCAN energy powder to really experience the wonders of the product. I’m used to oatmeal with banana before a long run, which provides substantial energy, but doesn’t usually sit in my stomach well. So, switching to a liquid breakfast was very different, but it worked out! It’s seriously amazing how easy UCAN is on your stomach! The powder mixes well and tastes good (despite the stevia taste, which is prominent). For me, I had to ensure I ate well the day prior to my 10 mile run to ensure I didn’t wake up hungry. I had my coffee first, then a little while later I had 1.5 scoops of energy powder in 10oz. of water 30 min before my run. And, I had an amazing run!!!!! No GI issues, solid energy, and my bladder was even ok after drinking so much liquid right beforehand! I felt great! It was unbelievable! I usually take short pauses every couple miles on my run to take a breath, but this time I only stopped two times solely to enjoy the scenery, which is important to me so I don’t lose the joy in running. I actually cut 10 min off my elapsed run time!!! I thought that was fantastic! I had energy+protein powder after to recover well. I am so happy! I felt strong, energetic and accomplished. I prayed a lot before and during the run, so God gets the glory for my awesome run, but UCAN definitely deserves some credit! I can’t wait to start increasing my mileage with the help of UCAN! Once you discover out how many scoops of powder you need in how much water you want, you will be amazed how UCAN empowers you!

    I have struggled trying to find a fuel that worked for me while running a marathon. That is until I tried UCAN. This superstarch based fuel definitely last the 90 minutes as advertised! This makes needing only three 8 ounces containers on my fuel belt. I love the Cran Raz flavour. I also add in electrolytes by adding a scoop of the UCAN triple berry. As added running inspiration when the going gets tough just keep repeating “You can with UCAN”!
