You might be skipping breakfast because you’ve heard you’ll burn more body fat in a fasted state. Maybe you were just too busy to grab something, or you were running late.

Getting to the gym after a long day at work is tiring enough. If you have an early evening class (for example 5pm) directly after work, take 1 scoop of UCAN 30 minutes before your workout. Shake up UCAN in your blender bottle and drink it on the commute to the gym. Keeping UCAN in your desk drawer at the office or in your car is a great way to be sure you are always prepared to have an amazing workout.
If you have a later evening class (for example 6 or 7pm), but still before dinner, consider having lunch at noon, a UCAN Snack bar to curb hunger at 3pm and a scoop of UCAN 30 minutes before your workout.
After an early evening group fitness class, resume eating as normal – colorful fruits and vegetables, lean meats and a controlled amount of complex carbohydrates.
One thing that all group fitness participants face at some point, no matter the time of day or level of fitness, is the ubiquitous “wall” that people hit 20 to 30 minutes in. Don’t lie, you’ve been in that spot where you think the workout is almost over only to look at the clock and see you’ve still got half the class left. You take a sigh and push on.

Drink 1 serving of UCAN 30-45 minutes before the race starts. You can choose either the UCAN Sports Drink Mix or the Protein-Enhanced Drink Mix. If using the Plain UCAN, mix with a scoop of protein powder or with sugar-free electrolytes for flavor.
Drink a 2nd serving of UCAN around 15km and a 3rd serving around Mile 25. Consume the serving over a 5-10 minute span rather than sipping on it slowly like a traditional sports drink. The amount of UCAN you take at each point during the race will vary based on the individual, but most people will consume a total of 1-2 servings during the race.
Drink 1 serving of Protein-Enhanced UCAN 90 minutes to 2 hours before the race starts. Drink 1 serving of the UCAN Sports Drink Mix 30-45 minutes before the race starts.
Consuming 2 servings of UCAN pre-race will allow you to go longer before needing to re-fuel.
Drink 1 serving of UCAN around 25km. Consume the serving over a 5-10 minute span rather than sipping on it slowly like a traditional sports drink.
