Questions
How many gels will I actually use on race day?
One 30 minutes before the start, then one every 60 to 75 minutes. A four hour marathon works out at roughly five gels. The box of 12 covers race day with enough left to rehearse the same routine on two or three long runs.
Why two jars of Hydrate?
Sixty servings across a sixteen week block is about four a week, which is what most runners get through once the weather warms up. Two flavours also keeps it drinkable that far into a training cycle.

Can I use this for a half marathon?
Yes. You will use fewer gels on the day, two or three rather than five, so the box stretches further across your training. Everything else applies the same way.
When exactly should I take the protein?
Within 30 minutes of finishing a hard session or a long run. Twelve servings covers the sessions in a block that genuinely need it, rather than every easy run.
Is the Energy Powder the same thing as the gels?
Both run on LIVSTEADY, but they do different jobs. The powder mixes into water and goes in before you run, or across race week for carb loading. The gels are what you carry and take on course.
