UCAN Orange Hydrate + Aminos is an electrolyte drink mix with added amino acids, formulated by an Olympic dietitian. Each 10g serve delivers 300mg of sodium, 151mg of chloride, 102mg of potassium, 50mg of magnesium and 18mg of calcium, plus a blend of six amino acids including glutamine, leucine and isoleucine. No added sugar.

Built for training that runs past 90 minutes, where muscle fatigue matters alongside fluid loss. Mix one scoop with 500ml of water before, during or after training. 20 serves per bag.

What is Hydrate + Aminos?

Hydrate + Aminos is an electrolyte drink mix with amino acids added. It starts from the same five-electrolyte base as standard UCAN Hydrate, then adds 5,500mg of amino acids on top of it.

The blend is leucine, glutamine, betaine, glycine, isoleucine and valine. Leucine, isoleucine and valine are the three branched-chain amino acids, and together they come to 2,500mg in a 3:1:1 ratio.

The serve is 10g rather than the 3g of standard Hydrate, mixed into the same 500ml of water. One flavour, orange, with no added sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Most athletes keep both and use this one on the sessions that run long.
