The smartest way to dial in your marathon fuel before race day.
Testing your nutrition in training is the difference between a strong finish and a DNF. This starter pack gives you 6 gels across 3 flavours — Strawberry Banana, Pineapple and Orange Mango — so you can find what sits well in your gut before you commit to a full box.
Powered by LIVSTEADY™: 75+ minutes of steady energy per gel, no blood sugar spike, no crash, and genuinely gentle on the stomach when you’re 30km deep.

6 energy gels — 2 each of Strawberry Banana, Pineapple and Orange Mango. All caffeine-free, all powered by LIVSTEADY™. Enough to test your race fuel across 2–3 long runs before committing to a full box of 12.
While sugar-based gels spike your blood glucose then drop it — the classic mid-race wall — LIVSTEADY™ releases energy gradually over 75+ minutes. No spike, no crash, no hitting the wall at 32km.
GI distress is one of the most common reasons runners DNF. UCAN’s slow-release absorption is gentle on the stomach — no bloating, no cramping, no emergency portaloo stops. Just steady energy to muscles and brain, right through to the finish line.
It doesn’t matter the age, athlete, or sport. Using UCAN to stabilize blood sugar and teach your body to burn fat is the real deal for any athletic or health-conscious individual.

No — completely sugar-free. UCAN Energy Gels are powered by LIVSTEADY™ rather than maltodextrin, glucose or fructose. This means no blood sugar spike and no energy crash. Note: because there is no simple sugar, these gels are not suitable as a quick fix for low blood sugar during exercise. They work best taken 30 minutes before effort begins.
Yes — significantly easier than most energy gels on the market. Traditional gels use high-fructose or maltodextrin formulas that cause GI distress in many athletes, particularly in the second half of long efforts. LIVSTEADY’s slow absorption profile is gentle on the stomach. No bloating, no cramping, no detours off the course.
Knead the pouch for 5 seconds before opening. Take one gel 30 minutes before your session starts. For efforts over 75 minutes, take a second gel at the 60–75 minute mark. Always take with 200–300ml of water. Pair with UCAN Hydrate electrolyte drinks for full race-day coverage.
Most runners use 2–3 gels for a full marathon (42km) — one 30 minutes before the start, one around 60–75 minutes in, and an optional third near the 2-hour mark. Each gel provides 75+ minutes of steady energy. Test your exact needs during training — that’s what this starter pack is for.
Yes. For a half marathon (21km), most runners find 1–2 gels sufficient — one before the start and one around the hour mark if needed. The starter pack gives you enough to test your fuelling across several training runs first.
