The electrolytes in UCAN Hydrate have made it easy and tasty for me to replace not only salts but other essential electrolytes lost while running.

Mocha Edge combines 75mg of fast-acting caffeine with slow-burning carbs for lasting energy with a mental boost – all without a single gram of sugar. Perfect for that extra push when you need it most.
Out of stock

Caffeine lowers how hard the effort feels. Taken from halfway, 45 mg lands in the stretch where most runners start to slow.

LIVSTEADY™ releases carbohydrate gradually across 75+ minutes, so the caffeine works on top of steady fuel instead of replacing it.

Thin texture and 0g sugar. No water needed to get it down, which helps between aid stations.
Caffeine planner
Pick your weight, your event and your breakfast coffee. The planner works to a common guide of 3 mg of caffeine per kg of body weight across the race, and times the pouches from halfway.
Body weight: 70 kg
Breakfast coffee
Counted at about 100 mg each. Café coffees vary a lot.
Your event

Your day in total

Inside the 3 mg per kg guide of 210 mg.
When to take them
Mocha at 2:15 and 3:15. Caffeine free Edge before that, every 45 to 60 minutes.
A starting point, not a prescription. The 3 mg per kg guide comes from the sports nutrition literature; many runners feel the effect from about 2 mg per kg. Practise the plan on a long run before you race it, and read caffeine before running for the full picture.
Same 45 mg, same LIVSTEADY™ fuel. The difference is what you will want to taste at hour three.

The one that is not fruit
Cocoa and instant coffee. The pouch for the back half, when sweet flavours have started to taste alike and your palate wants a different job.

Joe Stilin, 2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials QualifierLove the taste, so refreshing! I just switched from another popular brand… I haven't had any gut bombs yet with this! So far so good!
First running gel that I've tried and was not disappointed! Tasted pretty good and agreed really well with my stomach which usually has issues while I run.
Great taste, easy to digest, easy to consume. Lasted through my Ironman!
Love these gels! Enough energy and perfect consistency. Easy on the stomach!
I never go out riding my bicycles unless I have a pouch of ucan, halfway my ride I take it and I finish my rides strong.
The flavor is great. I appreciate the added electrolytes. And all UCAN gels I have had go down easily, though these have become my favorite.
Fueled my run with just the right amount of "boost" needed to complete my run efficiently. And loved that it didn't nausiate me…
honestly, a little more chalky than i expected BUT easy on the stomach so worth it

Twenty three grams a serve, which is one scoop of 47.2g. That is the most protein of any UCAN flavour. Cocoa carries 19g and both plant based flavours carry 20g.
Whey. It is made with whey protein concentrate and contains milk. If you need a dairy free option, take Vanilla or Chocolate, both made with pea protein.
No, it is whey protein concentrate. Concentrate keeps more of the naturally occurring milk components. Isolate is filtered further to strip out most of the lactose and fat.
No. Cookies and Cream is sweetened with stevia extract alone. Cocoa and Chocolate both use erythritol, so this is the whey flavour to pick if polyols bother your stomach.
Sweet without being sickly. If you want the least sweet option in the range, take Cocoa instead.
Twelve. The pack holds 556g at one scoop of 47.2g a serve, which works out at about $9.08 a shake.
