BONUS: CARB ME UP: ONLY HALFWAY
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
- 1⁄4 cup Quick Cook Steel Cut Oats
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 serving (1 scoop) UCAN Protein + Energy Cocoa
- Dash of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
- Dash of Ground Cinnamon
HOW TO MAKE IT:
- Bring 1 cup of water to a boil
- Add in 1⁄4 cup Quick Cook Steel Cut Oats.
- Reduce heat to low, and simmer uncovered for 7 minutes. *At the end of 7 minutes, expect a little extra water to remain in the mixture. This is intentional, and is present to help mix the UCAN.
- Remove oatmeal from heat.
- Add 1/2 serving (1 scoop) of UCAN Protein + Energy Cocoa to oatmeal. Stir thoroughly until UCAN is fully mixed in.
- Stir in 1 turn of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt and 2 dashes of ground cinnamon. Add or subtract both to taste, if desired.
- Spoon into a bowl and enjoy!

Hi there
I have recently purchased the Edge gels.
I am training for a marathon and have been using the UCAN Energy powder about 30-40 minutes before my long runs but feel like I need a top up during the run. I notice the graph example suggests another dose of UCAN about every 90 minutes. Does the Edge gel replace the Energy powder product mid-run or should I use the Energy powder and the Edge gels during the run?
